Forest Golem
These unique Golems are able to tap into Tree of life's power and siphon it into friendly beings. Dangerous when angry, but invaluable as a support unit.
The Forest Golem is one of the five elemental Golems in the game. They are the only variant that does not attack, but heal other units.
Information
The Forest Golem was introduced on 12/12/2022 during the 2022 Doomsday event. It was first announced in the weekly patch notes on the Discord server and Steam page, simply mentioning "-Forest Golem". As it turned out, the Forest Golem is not just another Golem, it is also the first healing Golem and the second healing unit in the game, after Mender.
This unit repairs units 4500 health, every shot. That makes it much better than the Mender (however it is as all Golems a pretty slow unit and it can be targetted by the Freeze Turret).
Similarly to the Mender, Forest Golem heals Mech (or Factory) units twice as fast and its fire rate is limited by the laser animation.
The Forest Golem also appeared in Pocket Adventures during the 2012 Doomsday event there. There are up to now traces of that in the Pocket Adventures source files.
Attacking tips
If Colossus is an upgraded version of Beetle Tank then Forest Golem is the upgraded version of the Mender, heals better but is also heavier and slower. It is recommended to use in low quantities of 2 or 3 (as it's a rare limited time unit unless you buy the Doomspack) and away from Freeze Turrets as they will slow the healer down to a crawl, best used in conjunction with other Golems and Colossi
Defending tips
It is noticably tough but is also slow, so a combination of Freeze Turrets, Mortars, and bunkers full of Colossi or Falcons will do the trick. Be wary of Golems infront of the Forest Golem as units will damage those first, backed up by it's strong healing ability, this unit is especially dangerous in high quantities much like the Mender.
