Wasp

Beware our sting! We fly together crowding enemy skies. So not only do we destroy, but we also annoy.

— In-game description.

About

  • The first Airborne Unit you unlock.
  • Air version of Marine.
  • Shoots a laser beam therefore it does double damage against mechanical units.

Tips

  • Don't use in bunkers unless you don't have time to train anything else.
  • Weak against Missile Launchers, they can be killed by them in a few shots. Don't deploy near them.
  • If the enemy base is lacking Bunkers and high-level Missile Launchers a swarm of level 7 wasps can easily overwhelm the base defenses. This combined with their relatively low cost and quick training time makes them very good for cleanup in alliance wars.

  1. Wasps' fire rate appears as 0.83 in-game but it is limited due to their animation which adds an additional ~850ms of delay so their real fire rate is 0.5.

Trivia

  • Damage from Wasps increased (via Upgrades).
  • Fixed a bug that caused Wasps move out of the screen instead of attacking the enemy.
