I personally think categories aren't that difficult as far as making them and I'm not into making them just for the sake of making them. I do how think that an information site such as any wiki site should be made as easy as possible to navigate

for example say you know you can get coins from a particular plant then that should be linked with the coin category and every thing else that has anything to do with coins. It would be pretty rare I would make a category just for one page. As for the Player level progression I would just link it to levels. One a different wiki we had a seperate page for every level as well as the level list, as well as every plant, building, gift etc it was a lot of work and then the game went spastic releasing like 80 missions at one plus stakes of other stuff we couldn't keep up as there was only a few of us. and they kept releasing more stuff so fast a lot of players quit the game. I'm happy to plod along and help you out where I can and with what you need. oh and I think we should have the tables closed and people can click on the levels to expand them because this page will end up twice as long and will be to long otherwise
