Magmalot
Magmalot is the freakish version of Firebit in the game. It is currently the last NPC character to unlock (around Star Base 6). In a new quest chain, it is revealed that Magmalot (previously named Nightmare Firebit by the community) is the result of a failed experiment by Firebit, attempting to clone himself. When it failed, Firebit convinced Magmalot that he was his brother and teams up with him to destroy colonies, as The Dark One ordered.
Previously, Magmalot was unused content of which some traces remained in the game files. It got added to the game in an update on April 14th 2024. You can find him in your main star system, alongside the other NPC's.
